For us e-learning via PC, intranet and internet is only one approach among other learning methods.
Very often e-learning lacks a real communication and mere computer-based learning methods (like
computer based training [CBT] or web based training [WBT]) often only seem to be interactive
and do not contain any multi-directed learning units.
BUPNET therefore prefers the so-called "blended learning" (mixed learning method),
which uses multi-media and web-based training in combination with other methods.
We use information technologies where they are reasonable for teaching:
- multi-media makes learning units more interesting
- teachers/trainers can extend their teaching
- pupils and learners are able to work more flexible and self-governing
- institutions are able to administer their teachers/trainers professionally
